A mixed media project I put together for my sculpture class this semester. The goal of this project was to build city-inspired forms with simple wood sheets as a starting point. I was inspired by nature as I often am and ran with the idea of cities in treetops.	A mixed-media photo series in which I painted on photos of urban settings to highlight the beauty in urban decay. The series of photos was accompanied by a poem and abstract painting focused on the same theme.

It is a surreal art project aimed at depicting the emotional burden of growing up, feelings of isolation, and the longing to return to a state of childlike bliss: where the world is lush and new, and where a carefree disposition is encouraged rather than chastised.
